Following the trail.

Life has many obstacles and we have first to unload our inner obstacles and then we can tune into the frequency of what we desire to attract into our lives.  This is basically what the law of attraction is about.  Whatever our own vibration is will resonate with the realm and frequency of the objects of our desire.  Perhaps it's money that you wish to attract and without money surely we will not survive today unless we live on a farm.

Meditation is the vehicle for knowing yourself and connecting with God.  Prayer is good and I think that in this particular time in our nations history we need to pray for our soldiers and Constitution that have been our protection.  In prayer we petition God and then we need to spend time quietly to listen to the inner voice that speaks to us and directs us as we blaze the trail in our own lives.  Meditation helps with concentration and memory so whatever you need to know you will learn quickly and be able to recal when the time is needed.  Meditation can also help decrease anxiety and fear.  When you meditate you will feel calm and that calmness will be with you throughout your day.  Fear arises when we feel that the object of threat is bigger than we are.  My teacher taught a technique to decrease the overwhelming feelings that come upon us when we have an enormous threat.  She said to imagine that the object of our fears is smaller than we are.  Create a mass proportion and it's weight and size being less than your own body frames.  It's quite simple so instead of feeling like a tidal wave is upon you it will be a mere wave.

I have always been a strong person.  My mother called me strong willed.  In the US because I have a combination of an English accent as well as a soft voice people underestimate me and I quite often wonder why they don't pick up on other ques, but most of us don't have the skills to assess.  My boundaries are strong and I am not passive.  I am not aggressive either, it's a matter of standing up for myself.  At the moment I have an issue that I am dealing with and will use all the resources in my power to shine the light of day into an entity that has damaged my reputation.  I am steadfast and know that the array of people that I have been fortunately connected with will prove my point when the time comes.  I could not have planned the play as it had been orchestrated nor have had the intelligence to be involved with people who could reveal what had happened in certain situations involving me through the community.  When the time comes the lid will be blow off their cover and I wouldn't have had to do much engineering the situation but sitting back and connecting the dots that God provided.  That is the way it is on the spiritual path things work together in synchronisity and when you have to deal with those who would do you harm the net is wide and drawn them up like a fisherman's net from a deep and muddy pond.

I mentioned that I was strong because on the spiritual path people I believe become airy-fairey about showing any type of aggression thinking that the highest road is to walk away and let whatever happens happen.  I think that in some situations that is so and when to do this and when not to is up to you and the type of path you want to walk.  Mandella and Ghandi were strong and while they did not promote violence they used all their resources and were truth tellers for their people.  They didn't sit passively back in the sense of letting things happen.  The opposed and stood up for themselves as well as all the people who stood behind them.  It basically comes down then to whether you want to be a follower or a leader.  A leader is someone who will commit to go down a certain path because if they don't they will fall prey to others who would do them harm.  Boundaries tell me to stand my ground and at some point I will draw the line in the sand and bring others into the situation to pursue the aggressor.

If you are a follower you will not be able to stand your ground because you will fear repurcussions and all the pressures that political correctness brings with it.  Recently I read an article by Jerry Cope in which he interviewed Michael R. Harbut. MD, PhD who said that it was extremely difficult to get health care providers to care for the victims of the toxins associated with the Gulf oil spill because of the pressures by BP.  Victor Alexander MD was arrested and obviously harrassed after he worked with the victims at Oxnar Clinic in New Orleans.

This is where I draw the line as a health care professional.  I believe that it is better not to participate in the politically toxic environment than stay working and not helping people in the way you know in your heart you should.  Last night I heard Shawn Hannity interview David Horowitz and their conversation involved how the Marxist left has infiltrated our schools to the extent that students are afraid to express opposing points of view because their grades will be lowered.  This misuse of power is in all levels of our institutions and government.  People are now talking about it for the first time and it's gotten to the point that it will take acts of Congress and perhaps the FBI to sort it all out.  Leaders tend to be truthtellers and are willing to take the risk of being put on the outside because the courage of their conviction would not let them do otherwise.  People who are followers will accommodate and rationalize in order to keep a stream of income perhaps.  About two years ago a economy airline had mechanical problems which they were not addressing and the head of the airline related that he had been approached in his office by his higher ups and asked if he wanted to keep the house and family the same as it was in the picture frame on his desk.  The question we all have to ask ourselves is where the line in the sand has to be drawn.  An old French proverb says that a good conscience is like putting your head on a feather pillow at night.

My Spiritual Master is very big on ethics and has forms for people to fill out on a daily basis to monitor and report what kinds of thoughts and acts they carried out that was not positive and ethical.  The difference on the spiritual path is that if we do something that isn't for our ultimate good it doesn't last for long.  Our karmas are being taken from us from the grace of a Master at a rapid rate.  I learned recently that after initiation with my Master that all karmas from past lives and up until that particular time are taken by him.  What a gift.  So there is an even greater desire to keep myself free from karma.  Karma can result from good actions as well as bad.  So if you do some good you would have to come back in another life to reap the reward.  Detachment and keeping in constant rememberance of the Master will help guide you on the path.  There are names of God that are repeated that are given at the time of initiation.  The names actually resonate with the energy at each level of our chakras which are energy centers through which energy ascends according to the level of our evolvement.  These a precious gifts and help me to keep to the path and go in the direction that my Master supports me in.  He said that it was a good thing that I was starting to do Life Coaching.

Life Coaching involves being attuned to the emotional and spiritual needs of the person who needs to develope inner guidance themselves.  I can help by identifying where the barriers are and forming goals and a strategy to get to their goals.  Change is a good thing and most of us need some support when we are undergoing change.  Starting a new business takes many hours of research and when everything has to be done from scratch some things take a little longer than others.  For instance I am good at marketing but have been slower with the computer skills that I have needed to link programs.  Fortunately I have found someone who has free online videos to explain how these links work and how to bring them together to synchronise effort.

There is a synchronisity that occurrs when you are on the spiritual path and you have to recognize when things are handed to you for your benefit.  If you are able to perceive the things that are coming easily and take them and use them for your advantage you will make progress with your goals sooner.  Frustration may be an issue for you and that is something which you will have to work on because it is something that is robbing you of your right to enjoying the learning process.  These are the layers of obstacles that may appear and you will have to journal and do the kind of self talk necessary to make what you are doing a positive experience.  Generally I believe that frustration is a learned mode of behavior that has served a purpose of releasing anxiety in the past.  It's time now to transcend these negative reactions that steal our lives away from us.  When we live in the present moment there is a constant rebringing ourselves back into the present moment.  Use the breath and pausing until these disruptive emotions become less and less until finally they are like a memory of a dream.
