One of the most enjoyable scenes from the Bible is that of King David as he danced his way into Jerusalem (I hope that's the correct city.) Anyway David had a penchant for getting into the groove with God. He understood God and he could resonate with God's vibrational frequency. There is a type of Meditation called Sound and Light Meditation and it's just what it says - it connects you with the sound and light vibrations within once you are initiated by the Master. Through the Grace and guidance of a Master your own frequency of light and sound becomes attuned to that of God. With liberation you remain emersed at the same vibrational frequency level of God all of the time.
The more pure your own frequency becomes, the more divine sounds you will hear. David was experiencing these divine sounds as his feet danced and his robes flapped and twirled about his body. God has the kind of power that fills our body and soul with so much joy and energy that it's only expression comes through the dance like David did on that day. He must have been a good looking guy with his long golden hair perhaps and sweat pouring off his brow. He would have been muscular and agile reminding me of a Michael Angelo statue. Servant women lined the path to cheer him on, perhaps giggling and gaping at the beauty of his movement and flashes of his loins. Later when he got to his home or palace, his wife was waiting. She was angered by his open display of his private parts to all the servant women in the city, and scolded him for his brazenness. That scene ended their relationship because his wife didn't understand him. His dance was about his love for God, and the power that flowed through him was so powerful that it moved his body and soul. He was totally in the present and it was totally about his togetherness or oneness with God.
I like total abandonment to God and it's up to others if they wish to judge - farewell my friend! I would rather be called mad for God. Yet you must be sincere with your love for God. If not, who do you think you're fooling? Don't you think that God could sense David's fervor? I hope that we all move our bodies and feel the Power of God's Love and Majesty in every movement. Taking care of our bodies and being agile and athletic as David was, is a worthy goal that God will support you in achieving. We all have our karma to deal with in life. Some of you may actually be burdened with some physical illness and I hope that you will still try to reach your potential.
Bill Clinton has a tape which I have posted on this site. He shares how he is undoing the damage that he caused his body through vegetarian diet which allows the body to unclog the arteries. I recommend vegetarian diets because I have found it to be a very clean way of keeping the intestines clean. Also you don't absorb the antibiotics and steroids that they feed to live stock. If you haven't already done so please watch "Food, Inc." (posted on this site.) We are supposed to be a civilized society and when I saw how factory farms operate and the cruelty that is done to the animals it breaks my heart. The slaughterhouses are like something out of hell. Is this what you are looking to energize your body that is a vessel for God? My Teacher asks "Why do you want to make your body into a graveyard?"
I like business and have always thought that people should be able to earn as much money as they desire. Business creates the potential for wealth and as long as you tithe and take care of your loved ones, money is a blessing. Whenever you are stingy with money it shrinks your capacity for love and contracts your experience of the power of abundance. Generosity is always the higher path and even if it's a little bit it's always a good thing to give. If you run a business be aware of what is going on with your customers and don't just take from them. If you live from the heart you will do this naturally. Let's all strive for abundance and create opportunities in our lives where we can "go for it" as the saying goes. Create an avenue for your business to serve your community. For instance Office Max sponsors "Adopt a Classroom," so that children will get the school supplies they need. Tommy Spaulding a famous Coach impacted they way people network. His philosophy was always to serve those you were wanting to be your clients and take the relationship to a higher place through getting to know your client's lives thoroughly. It takes effort and a desire to connect on a deeper level. He called his networking "netgiving" because the focus was always on the client's needs and giving them what they needed and more by going the extra mile. As the saying goes "Just do it!" Your heart may not be as open to this idea as you would like but the more you step out into the realm of generosity, more will come back to you. That is a natural law of the universe. Make your intention clear about your desire, then release it. If you hold onto the intention it will become the focus instead of the process that is about to unfold that will bring blessings to you.
Ask yourself what is your deep passion. What do you need to "go for it?" David didn't hold back and he didn't take a berating from his wife either. It is important to know yourself through self-enquiry and journaling. When you are confident about who you are you can be a pillar of strength for others who need you to help them grow. If you are in business it is your responsibility to deliver all that you say you will and do it in a loving and courteous way. If you are doing something that you don't like try to build a business up on the side and when it is more fully developed you can maybe switch. Keep your enthusiasm high by preparing and always honoring whatever you are called or asked to do. Like David don't let anyone rob you of your power. Follow the advise of one of the world's greatest power brokers, Mahatma Gandhi, "I will never let anyone walk through my mind with their dirty feet."
The week is ahead of you now and it's important to write your goals out. Write a long term goal for the month and split it up into measurable weekly or short term goals. Stay focused on your projects and keep working day and night to get the job done. Excellence is the key to getting referrals. When people speak highly of your work they will be bound to tell others. The process is character building for you and motivating when you get as Spaulding coined "Return on Relationships." Who gets up thinking of doing something with a negative attitude and gets it done well? No one I hope! You need to be your own hockey or football coach. Life is like a training camp but the game is for real. Be sure that your self talk is positive and that you are spurring yourself to continue on. Attitudes are contagious so make sure yours is worth catching. Believe in yourself and put your trust in God or your Higher Power. Remember to think of your God or Higher Power through out the day and speak to He/She as though she were with you in every moment. Know that God wants you to succeed and that you will have many blessings to help you accomplish fame, fortune or whatever your ultimate goal.
