Get it done!

We step over the threshold of our own procrastination with each New Year.  It is a psychic new beginning to give ourselves permission to start something new in our lives.  To turn things around for the better.  With each passing year we have to be more vigilant about getting our mission accomplished.  Whatever our purpose has been to fulfill in this life has to be done before we depart.  Mine has been to work with children.  I have the qualifications.  I somehow have had difficulty with the establishment from time to time.  I feel more empowered to be able to stand in my own truth and state my goals and objectives with respect for others and expect the same in return.
I believe that it is important to start each day with a clean intention and I have been using the web that has been developed by Deepak Chopra called www.Intent.com  Once you are able to be clear and specific about what you need to do with each day your steps will be guided from your inner intention.  Without this anchor the day can slip by without the realization that no clear intention will result in no clear outcome.  Life happens like that it's going by in a flash while the tools that are being made known by enlightened people are disregarded or put off for another day.  Remember another day will turn into another year and another life.
I have enjoyed expanding my connections over the internet during the past two years.  It was quite unintended for a while.  I was politically interested in the outcomes for the past election and supported people for office who I thought would serve the country in the way I through would be of value.  Through those connections I was able to relate some concerns that I had personally experienced and had a way or relaying information.  That was more empowering than approaching the situation through my lawyer as I had been used to doing.  I think it is vital today for professionals to become politically active and stand up one by one for the values and beliefs that serve our society.
Get whatever projects you have to get done this year.  My project is going to get a book published.  I am English and now an American citizen which I am very proud of.  I was born in Mombasa, Kenya where my father was a civil engineer for the East African Railroads and Harbors.  He was born out of wedlock to a young titled English Lady according to the sister of his adoptive mother.  His biological father was a married German who worked at the Embassy.  His adoptive parents managed a tea plantation in southern India and moved to the Rift Valley, Kenya when my father was thirteen.  My mother met my father in Mombasa when she served in the Royal Army during WWII.  So many people have a preconceived impression about white Colonial Kenya.  I feel almost embarrassed to discuss my upbringing because of the personal projections of others.  Recently my beloved Master asked who was from Africa during a talk but I hesitated to respond because I didn't want to share that part of my life knowing what others prejudices toward white people in Africa is like.  My book will be written from a spiritual perspective as I relate all the events of my life that helped form me into the person I am today.  Kenya is my soul's home and always will be.  My father's grave is at Langata Cemetry outside the Nairobi National Game Park where we spent so much time as a family observing the wild animals.
Get it done is what our mantra should be for the coming year.  Start each day by remembering what your commitment for your future is going to be and set daily goals.  Be sure to write a daily intention and steer your activities toward getting what you need to do done.
I coach people toward their goals and can be reached at lawrencerita511@gmail.com  Those I work with must become initiated spiritually, meditate daily and follow a vegetarian diet.  Rain Nutrition is an antioxidant product that I promote and you can visit my site at www.MyRain.me/rita
