Organic Products - a new website for listing companies as well as your own start-ups

http://www.weebly.com/weebly/main.php   ORGANIC PRODUCTS

I have to wait 48 hours for this site to be processed but wanted to share with you that we have another exciting new layer to add for 'Nurses Transition Network.'  I know that many of you are still trying to find ways to earn income and because of that and my research into companies that can be a starting point without much capitol outlay I have put this web up and will enlist companies that fit with the philosophy that I have for this group and my life.
Organic Products is one on the ways to support and help heal our planet while being able to market and earn money through this network.  It is entirely possible that nurses may have a product that is organically made that can be listed and market on this web site.
I want to say that I have noticed readers from Ukraine and Moldova and I welcome you to this group and hope that you will find some products from your own countries that will appeal to a world wide market.  Nurses read this blog in N. America and the UK.  We will be continuing to build a strong network around organic products that will enable nurses to produce goods or join companies that produce organic goods that they can sell.  The possibilities are endless and this is only the beginning.
Recently I read that two Nurse Anesthetists in Nevada, USA were found guilty of murder in relation to reusing a single dose vial of a sedative.  The work environment was threatening and they were bullied and harassed about using supplies needed to the point that they apparently conformed to a dangerously poor practice of giving medication causing the death of a patient who had contracted hepatitis C because of it.
It sounds like a tragic situation and that these nurses were demoralized by the culture of intimidation and bullying that led up to this sentinel event.  I wonder where in relation to this clinic acquired infection do other hospital acquired infections stand and wonder how two nurses can be charged with murder over poor technique and standards of care when others are spreading infections daily that can be fatal also?  Hand-washing is a technique and standard that nurses must follow yet patients succumb to infections that become life threatening and sometimes even causes death.  Again it seems to come down to availability of necessary supplies.  One sink for a hospital ward is not uncommon in the UK and it is an impossible task for nurses to keep using one sink between patients it seems running to and fro across the room.  Having a wash basin beside each bed side would promote more hand washing compliance and that is the number one measure to prevent the spread of infections.
Yet another new graduate of 9 months was left without the right syringes when she accepted to cover an assignment for another nurse.  The pen like injection syringe did not work and she ended up trying to use 4 regular syringes to administer insulin which is is calibrated in ml instead of units to a patient who subsequently died.
The positive description of this new graduates character is one which makes you feel very sorry for her because she looked distressed and tearful in the pictures taken of her and expressed deep remorse.  http://www.health.nsw.gov.au/nursing/projects/Documents/novice-expert-benner.pdf  Brenner's Novice to Expert model will be useful for any new graduate to become familiar with the stages of acquiring new skills and competencies.  I also would like to see more mentoring of nurses in the work place and internships for new graduates so that they are not put in perilous positions that have caused so much grief and despair.
My very best wishes to you all as you surmount your particular obstacles and see them as opportunities to become a more whole person and move forward with your lives.
Meditation is a key practice to follow daily that helps calm and stabilize thought patterns and relaxes the body from stress and tension.  You will only benefit from this practice and it will help you to refresh and see life more positively.
Warm Wishes and may the good works that you have done come back to you multi-fold.
Rita.
