Changing dynamics of healthcare and the effects nurses.

http://www.thehealthlawfirm.com/resources/nursing-law-manual.html  George F. Indest II has an online manual that provides information to help you understand the legal process of an investigation and defending your license.  I hope that you will be able to gain insight and find the right lawyer to represent you in the event that you face and investigation or even a hint that you will be facing one.
Joint Commission's best hospital list is proof that there are safe environments to work in and would be the best places to apply for that reason.  Learn to be proactive every step of the way.
http://www.jointcommission.org/2013_eisenberg_award_recipients_announced/ so please do the basic things such as checking the hospitals mission and vision and see how that incorporates supporting nursing.  I am not a lawyer but when there are so many changes in the work place such as mergers that has been the trend for the past few decades it is important to manage where you choose your work environment to be and with whom.
www.FierceHealthcare.com has articles by Katie Sullivan, Karen Cheung-Larivee and Ron Sinkman that report for 2011 - 980 deals were made worth $227.4 billion.  PriceWaterhouseCoopers (CWP) has warned that the outcomes are not always positive, saying that 2/3 were over paid, culture clashes, inadequate due diligence, failure to retain key employees, ineffective communication, excessive debt and extended integration.
At the University of Bristol a research report found: 'hospitals that consolidated in the late 1990's and early 2000 continued to have larger deficits after mergers.  Patients had to wait longer for elective treatment post-merger, and there were few indications that clinical quality improved.'
The Royal College of Nursing were quoted in the National Audit Office report to Parliament on the high cost of medical exclusions that not enough counselors and doctoral researchers and nurses were included in the critical processes in the work environment in the same way that doctors were.
I will be writing the newsletter and posting blogs.  Thankfully there has not been interference with the site as I am writing.  I was told by my solicitor that when you blog on a site like this you sign over your rights to them.
Keep following as we can move together and visualize us in mass holding hands and walking toward a common goal of independent prosperity and for issues with licenses to be addressed.  As you network together - preferably in person keep these things in mind.  How you can help each other start in business, keep a roof over your head, and reach out to local politicians about your circumstance and background about what happened.  Always be thankful for any time that is given to you and write letters of appreciation that are heart felt.  By the law of attraction this will turn things around for you to get the positive results you deserve.
My best wishes are with you as you heal in community and form an alliance of hope as you face the charges brought against you.  Your ability to earn income can be regained if you contemplate all the areas where you are strong and have experience.
Warm Wishes, Rita.
