http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-stoke-staffordshire-21708083  Sharon Turner and Tracy White are the two A&E sisters who were struck off the nursing registry and lost their appeal at the High Court this week.  The above article by the BBC gives some of their responses to the accusations last summer.  I am not an attorney but I wonder why Mr. Justice Leggatt's ruling in the case in October 2013 of Midwife Mercy Okeke did not influence this latest case. www.hsj.co.uk  Mr. Justice Leggatt  said that nurses could not be struck off the register for incompetence.  'At most a registrant found to be incompetent could be suspended for up to a year.'  I hope these two nurses got the justice they deserved.  In a situation where several patients were not cared for properly at the Mid Staffordshire Trust A&E it seems unusual that only these two nurses were held responsible although they were in charge.
