Nurses groups are the best place to grow and move forward.

Those who face an investigation need to be able to be clear about the process and the importance of hiring an attorney who is specialized in license law.  You will have to do some research and talk to people about their background.  Web sites are important to check about the kind of information they can give you about their expertise and track record.  You need a lawyer who is competent and strong.
http://www.nmc-uk.org/under-investigation  In the UK, the Nursing and Midwifery council have posted this information so that nurses will be aware of the stages of the investigation and contact with the board.  As the following article demonstrates not all nurses are able to find jobs once they have had an investigation and the reasons may not be clear.  As I have pointed out in the past there are government data bases where licenses can be listed.  I also think there is a pre-drawn conclusion that to have an investigation equivocates to being guilty and employers seem scared of coming up on the radar screen and having any repercussions.

What is important is that you deal with the emotions as quickly as you can because that is a normal part of the experience.  You may need to talk with a therapist, read self help books, or learn how to meditate to reduce emotions such as fear and anger.  That is something positive that and you will grow from the experience into a far more compassionate and open person.
I encourage and recommend that nurses connect in person as much as possible and talk about issues that you are dealing with.  Rita McGrath of Columbia University wrote about group genius in  'The Entrepreneurial Mindset,' and quotes Keith Sawyer's writing about Group Genius in  'The Creative Power of Collaboration.'  He wrote the 'effective characteristics of effective creative teams 1) innovation emerges over time 2) successful collaborative teams practice deep listening 3) team members build on their Collaborators ideas 4) only afterwards does the meaning of each idea become clear 5) surprising questions emerge 6) innovation merges from the bottom up.'  This kind of activity where you can help one another achieve superior results does not happen on line.  It happens when you meet and form a network or team and process together.  It's okay to meet once a month for instance and then do your homework and start your plans while communicating over the phone or via Internet between meetings.
Be sure to keep your actual case in point between you and your attorney if you are going through an investigation or disciplinary action.  Support is essential and you have more in common with your group than you will with others who have not had a similar experience and would lack the level of empathy and understanding that you need.
When it comes to money - money is important!  That is why it is important to move ahead with your life and start a small business.  Margaret M. Lynch teaches tapping as a method to clear away negative beliefs that can be a barrier to moving forward and opening yourself up to financial abundance.  In this video Margaret demonstrates the method and does an exercise to walk you through.  I recommend her work because it is has been studied with returning US Vets from the Middle East and has been shown to me more effective in the treatment of PTSD than medication alone, or medication combined with therapy.  The same neural pathways are rewired when focusing the intention of creating wealth.
My very best wishes are with you as your move forward with your networking and creating a new life of abundance and freedom to chose the life you want.  This fundamental energy work is important to work on while you do the practical things to draw in more wealth.
Warm Wishes, Rita.
