Robert Francis QC is a champion for seeing the big picture.

I hope you are well and feeling motivated to move on with your lives and careers to earn the money you so deserve!  I want this blog to be a statement to the work that needs to be done in society to empower, honor, value and respect nurses who encounter difficulties with the licensing boards and are unable to work.  I feel reassured that the culture that nurses work in is not open and transparent and it leaves nurses in a very vulnerable position and the more inquiries into the hospital systems that occur as a result of patient safety issues the better because it has to change in order to protect nurses and their licenses.  http://audioboo.fm/boos/1467080-robert-francis-qc-evidence-of-closed-culture-at-cqc  Robert Francis QC led an inquiry into the Mid Staffordshire Trust following an initial inquiry that focused on individual cases and the internal operation of the Trust.  This inquiry took a broader look at monitoring the system.   This is the report for those who would like to know more about it and there is one page that addresses the most frequently asked questions.  http://www.midstaffspublicinquiry.com/report  What is a jaw dropper for me is that Francis Quin is appealing to the government a year later asking them to act on the recommendations given to parliament in this final report.  http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/nhs/10622699/Robert-Francis-pleads-with-politicians-over-future-of-NHS.html  I like his frankness so very much calling on the NHS to not scale back money on the front lines as they did at Mid Staffordshire.  Who are the people most affected when this kind of political maneuver takes place (cutting money?)  Nurses of course!  Robert Francis said it was difficult to blame individuals and I agree with his point because when a system is not honest about what it is doing and how it is operating and has other people snowed like the nursing body that went in at some point to examine the hospital and said nothing was wrong, we know he's right on target.  Nurses need to speak out more about these kinds of environments and go to the site I had previously mentioned for whistle blowers.

http://igniteyourpowerevent.com/livestreamclass2  The good stuff is always right here when you need it and Margaret M. Lynch is offering a free 2 1/2 hour class for free that will show you some strategies to use to bring big opportunities to you right now and ones that you can set goal for to bring even more financial reward in the coming two to five years.  Nurses are smart and motivated to learn the toughest of subjects and that will serve you well as you put in the effort to tap into your inner resources and learn to manifest with coaching from Margaret.
You are welcome to join me on my facebook.ritalawrence or twitter@Langata145 as I will post the Grant Goper list that comes out each week and you can see if there are some that would be of interest in applying for those in the US.  For others in different parts of the globe for grant information check on line and also check with your librarian.  There are a broad array of services and needs in communities that nurses can apply.
Another weird message on this blog just appeared in a red box asking me to quote an error message number and say what I'm doing on this blog.  I think they can read what I'm doing so I don't know what they mean unless it's a robot.
My well wishes are with you as you deal with the legal issues related to your license and move forward with your life as quickly as possible.  I highly encourage you to meet together in your communities and keep in touch on line and by phone.  Do not feel isolated and abandoned.  Many people are going through the same things as you are now experiencing and are sending you positive thoughts and well wishes too.
Warm Wishes Rita.
